CAT FOOD DONATIONS NEEDED 🆘a local caretaker that desperately needs help with cat food (wet & dry). The kind caretaker's name is Sandy, she lives in Chesterfield, NJ and is sadly in poor health. She is really struggling financially and is having a hard time providing them all with their daily food. Sandy reached out to the wonderful FOBCAS (Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter) organization who is currently helping her TNR all 40 cats that have migrated to her property that she cares for. Getting them all spayed and neutered is HUGE 🙌 thank you FOBCAS!! Sandy cares so much for these cats, she loves them and it hurts her heart that she isn't able to afford their food. She could really use a helping hand from the loving cat community, and would be so extremely grateful!! 💖🥰

4-3-23 Cat with trap on foot
Today's adventure. Got a message at 11am about a cat with a rat trap on foot. Loaded up and left immediately. Set traps, within 20 mins we had this precious boy. Tysm Gabrielle Hamlett for reaching out for help and Raymond C. Phillips for being his awesome self. Kitty is safe at vet and getting the help he needs.

4-6-23 Beef - stray cat with bad mouth needs vet
URGENT HELP NEEDED ❗️
I have a cat named Beef with severe mouth problems. He was TNRed from Ontario at IVHS and was given antibiotics for an infection but he is declining rapidly. He is not able to eat well and his whole mouth is gooped up. He is scared and in pain so he can’t be handled very well. All the vets I called said he would need to be put under anesthesia to be examined but that’s more than I can afford bc I have over 10 other fosters at home.

4-14-23 Sprout Heart problem
STRAY HAVEN Feline Rescue St. Louis is asking for donations. Sprout needs heart surgery to live a normal life!! Poor Sprout. He hasn’t been doing so great recently, and after a recent ECG and echocardiogram we found out why. He is in congestive heart failure due to Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), a heart defect that occurs when the ductus arteriosus (arterial shunt) fails to close at birth. Sprout is currently on meds, but his only real option is surgery ASAP to tie off the ductus, stopping blood from flowing through the shunt. Of course, heart surgery is expensive, so we are asking for your help to raise funds. After spending $800 in diagnostic tests, we are facing another $3,000-$4,000 in surgical costs. While any heart surgery comes with risks, it seems worth it - Sprout is only 1 year old and deserves a chance at a long, normal life.

4-25-23 Ozzie - possible bladder blockage
My senior big guy Ozzie is sick again and keeps crying and vomitting. We are off to the vet to get him checked out. Prayers it’s nothing serious. If anyone can donate anything it would be appreciated. We are at Harleysville Animal Hospital in Harleysville, PA. So far we know it is not a blocked bladder which was the reason for his hospital stay 6 months ago. We may be getting some X-rays done to find out what is cause by the vomiting. I may need to surrender him to the vet but this cat means everything to me but I can’t afford to help him but I also can’t lose him. But I don’t want to be selfish with him Either He is just as attached to me as I am to him
I have had him his whole life and don’t want to give up on him He is like 15 years

4-27-23 Tommy - needed help to pts
I heard from a friend who needed some help with having her cat pts. She was at the vet with him earlier in the day and they said he had a virus and gave her meds and sent her home. Later that night, he was having trouble breathing so they rushed him to an ER vet to see what was wrong.
Turns out his lungs and belly are filled with fluid and pus they said he could have heart failure or he had something in his belly and his intestine ruptured. So she had to let him go. He was only
2 1/2. Tommy will now go on our memorial page.
