Greenup Paws Friends 💚💚 This is Molly, who was picked up by volunteers yesterday and taken to the vet. It's a long list of issues that this girl is suffering from, and this is just upon her initial exam and xray. There will likely be more we don't have results on yet. -
Broken back right leg
- Horrible flea infestation
- Intestinal parasites
- Anemia
- Deaf
- No teeth
- Gallup heart murmur
- Hyperthyroidism
- Extremely underweight (only 4.6 pounds)
- Probable liver and/or kidney issues and/or pancreatic problems
- Earmites
She has, for the most part, been living outside in this state for some time and she needs help. At minimum, she will need her leg repaired or amputated which can cost, on average, anywhere from $700 to $1200. She needs flea meds, wormed, ear mite treatment, extensive bloodwork, and possibly more. She will also likely require medication for the hyperthyroidism for the rest of her life.We looked into this poor girl's eyes and she let us know how tired she was of struggling and we couldn't say no. We hope you won't say no either. Please help us help Molly feel better. This old girl deserves our love. 🙏

8-5-24 Katnip - needs blood transfusion
Prayers needed. My sweet girl went and got groomed today and it unfolded and turned into my absolute WORST nightmare. She was fine and her normal Katnip self when I dropped her off. We got home and it was then that I realized she couldn’t walk. She was falling over.. I rushed her to the vet and the scare at the groomers was a blessing in disguise because it brought to light my sweet girl is HIGHLY anemic and is desperate need of a blood transfusion of which I truly can’t afford right now. if you have it in your heart or are able please donate to Rosebird Vet on Jersey Shore for KatNips blood transfusion under my name.

8-10-24 Cat needs vet appt ASAP

Hello friends. Mia, a 5 year old calico, who has been healthy, started losing some weight but still eating. Her gums were a bit inflamed, so I thought that's why she wasn't eating as much dry food, but still eating wet. She's very alert and eating some fancy feast now. However, now she's got jaundice. Her gums are suddenly yellow. I've got to get her in for exam and bloodwork.
If anyone at all can help....I'm still waiting on payday 30 August and she can't wait until then. Exam and bloodwork would probably be around $200. If anyone can sponsor Mia to get her seen asap, please message me Thank you for caring ❤️

8-14-24 - Chewy - cat with broken leg
This little guy had broken his leg. He's my son and he gets whatever he wants. He had broken his leg playing. I am asking from all the good people if I can get help with donations to get it fixed. The Vet had said he's 17 pounds and they can't amputate it. The vet said to put a bone plate in it would cost 1800.00 dollars to fix it. If I can get some help with funds would be appreciated. 8-17-24 Fuzzy - very ill kitten
NEPA Cat Rescue is asking for donations. RESCUE KITTEN UPDATE!! DONATIONS DESPERATELY NEEDED!! 🐈 🙏 The little fuzzy kitten with the really bad eyes is a little girl. She approx 7 weeks old. Her left is a complete loss and will need to be removed when she's strong enough and weighs enough to survive surgery. She's eating well has gained 6 oz in 3 days and her anemia has been reduced.When we first rescued her we gave her 40/60 odds now we've reversed that to 60/40. She really likes to sleep in the litter box so we would like to get her a hidey hole bed. She is a fighter and we could really use donations of supplies and monetary donations. 8-19-24 Arabella - kitten with head tilt
The Cats of CatNip Row Rescue & Sanctuary: An extremely serious situation has come up.
I’d like you to meet Arabella.Two girls found her on the side of the road this morning. It looks like she was possibly hit by a car. Her back leg may be broken and she may have head trauma but that is only MY opinion. Dr. Hanson has not looked at her, yet. She also has bruising on her tummy. She is not in good shape to me and I’d like to do whatever can be done to help her. She did eat a little food and drank some water. There was just no way I could turn away an injured animal. 8-29-24 Dog food needed
Woke up Friday to 14 yo Miss Mendez screaming and struggling to poop. Vet recommended ducolax and check back Monday. Over the weekend slightly better. Monday 5a.m. I wake up to screaming in the living room. She's stuck in a corner and .can't get out Scared the crap outta me. Awesome vet says drop her off and they'll look at her sometime during the day. Unbelievably accommodating !!! Picking her up I'm told she had fluids, cerenia and an X-Ray. Apparently Mendez's stomach was unusually tender. So $180 later I get the news Mendez needs to fart! An expensive FART! Unfortunately she also has a serious heart murmur 😿 Any help would be appreciated. Thanks 💜 REALLY needs help with food.

8-30-24 Panda - very ill stray cat
There’s a black and white cat near 9th & Gordon in Allentown that needs medical care. Is anyone able to pick it up and take it to a vet ASAP? It appears to be an older cat and VERY skinny. this cat will literally die if I leave him here.
