12-2-24 Hersey - kitten with scabies

Facebook friends I need some help. I was contacted yesterday bout a kitten about 4 months old that needs immediate vet attention. She has horrible kitty scabies. She can not see out her eyes very well. Her face is super swollen. I’d like to raise at least 150 to start being she’ll need ongoing treatment.

12-2-24 Roxi - kitten hit by car

We have a sweet little girl we named Roxi. She is so super sweet and lovable and unfortunately in a mess. Roxi was hit by a car and drug herself to a yard where she was immediately attacked by at tomcat and couldn't get away from him due to not being able to walk. Poor girl used two of her nine lives and were determined to save the rest of those. She has a slightly fractured spine, it completely dislocated hip, and fractured pelvis and several puncture wounds from the attack. Dr Snell is also hopeful that we can give her a good quality of life so we will do all we can for her. This however will probably take time and a couple of surgeries for now she is on pain meds and antibiotics for the puncture wounds from the other cat.

12-2-24  Another plea for cat food

I have another plea for cat food. Someone has been feeding many cats and never had to ask for help before, but with the price of cat food going up and up she cannot do it alone anymore. She hasn't been able to feed the appropriate amount and the cats are getting skinny. Can we help?

12-4-24  Senior stray kitty needs vet asap

Baby Jack's Rescue: Good morning folks. I will be pulling a another senior gentleman off the street tonight. Before this snow Flys.. he does need some medical. Can we rally together and help this charming old man. This is from the poster: This cat is in desperate need of help! Someone was supposed to rescue him but it hasn't happened yet. He needs to get off the street. He is missing his right eye, he has frostbitten on his right ear, is missing front teeth and probably has more dental disease requiring extensive dental work. He has a permanently retracted claw on hind leg, and what appears to be an abnormality of the hind leg. He has scratches on his face and head likely from fighting with another animal and his eye drains sometimes.! He is friendly and has been trying to go into the person's house.

12-6-24 Sparkey neglected kitty needs help asap

12-11-24 Frabbit - cat hit by car

FishHawk TNR Animal Rescue is asking for donations.‼️‼️‼️Emergency!
Driving,  my husband suddenly busts a Uturn in said busy 4 lane road and said there's a cat in the middle of the road who's been hit. I scream omg is she alive? Her head was up. Not moving. He blocked 2 lanes of traffic and we threw the hazards on protecting her in the road. People honking at us, city buses stuck can't get through. It's 930pm, this is insane. This AMAZING couple (James and Cortney) pulls over and yells what can they do. I think I yelled back we need a box and a towel and that im a rescue! Again, looking like a crazy lady. I see them going through their trunk as me and my husband are in the middle of the road guiding traffic and shielding the cat. Kitty just wrapped in a sweatshirt and us having no idea her injuries. We got her in the carrier. We rush to Blue Pearl that was 8 minutes away. And here we are. We have named this kitten Frabbit. She is under 6 months old. She was apparently spayed/TNRed within the week as her belly is shaved and ear tipped. And tonight she was hit by a car. Her back right leg is broken. We are having xrays done as we speak to see how bad it is. This girl, was meant to be with us. And we will now do everything to ensure her health and safety.
So welcome to the rescue, Frabbit. We went to the Fat Rabbit Pub tonight in remembrance of my girl, her name was Destiny, who left the physical world last year at the age of 20, spending half my life with me. I called you Bee Rabbit. And we joked that you were never a "fat rabbit" and you very obviously sent this tiny girl our way tonight. Frabbit is getting pain meds and xrays right now and may need massive surgery depending what is found.Every dollar helps. We've signed off for 2k already and that's without surgery yet. We apprecaite your support so much. Stay tuned!

12-16-24 Cat food needed

TDC cannot help with relocation so we offered to help with some food 

Tonight’s beauties ❤️ Barbara Carney from Brick City Kitties Rescue, Inc. was contacted for help in relocating a colony in Piscataway where the neighbor has been killing cats 😢💔. Law enforcement was contacted and nothing was done 😠. I am vehemently against relocation unless their lives are in danger but unfortunately that is the case here . There are about five more to get so I’m going to try again tomorrow morning. Trapping in the bitter cold tonight was tough especially since I’ve been sick and I wasn’t able to watch the trap from my car to stay warm unfortunately, so I called it quits sooner than I would have normally 😔. One funny thing is since they were so scared of me I eventually hid behind the fence door to listen for the trap to close and one time when it did I covered it up immediately like I always do and didn’t even notice I trapped the tortie older kitten and one of the orange older kittens together 😂. When I trap at night I normally shine my flashlight to double check for tips as soon as I put them in the car and I didn’t tonight because I didn’t need to know if they were tipped or not. I eventually shined the light later on and I was like hey where did you come from little girl? 😂😂. That is in the last pic, before I separated them.
