About The Snoopi Project- Riviera Maya
MISSION:
• Provide shelter for family dogs:
o Assist local families by providing a doghouse, de-parasite medication, flea/tick protection for 30 days for all dogs on the property.
o Provide supplies, food, sterilization and education to local families and their pets, as necessary
o Support local labor to provide the houses.
o Comply with the local law regarding the appropriate care of animals, providing a proper shelter from the weather.
• Provide medical care for dogs (extreme cases only):
o Raise funds as needed for dogs in our care
Including veterinary care & boarding
o Focus is on dogs that are in extreme medical need

10-04-23 Frostburg - panleukopenia kitten
Whiskers, Inc. I cannot believe this. If u read my post yesterday about the Injured kitten that showed up at the yardsale...well when it rains it pours. We havnt taken any kittens or cats in a long time due to no donations, and we are FULL. Well this kitten was unexpected and we took it. And today HE POPPED POSITIVE FOR PANLEUKOPENIA. Poor little guy. So he's at the vet and we are praying he lives. But oh my do we need donations to help us fight for his life.

10-06-23 Shiloh - needs eye surgery
Baby Jack's Rescue is asking for donations. BJR family we super need your help for wee little Shilo. I was doing my rounds taking care of everyone, and came across a blood splattered bath across the bathroom. Without having his eye removed, Shilo will continue to get hurt. I've tried e-collars. I don't want him anywhere near the other kittens, fearful of an emergency trip, that they will accidentally swipe his eye while playing. If everyone pulled together, even just 5 dollars, Shilo could have his eye removed and neutered at a low cost clinic, and we'd be able to continue to spay and neuter our other babies.

10-09-23 Thackery - barely responsive kitten
I saw this post and offered $100 to get this kitten to a vet ASAP:
Kitten found near the woods in Katy Tx. He was looking for food. He ate a little . Of course people are feeding wrong But he did eat fry and wet a little.

10-17-23 Two cat colonies in need of food
Our Schnecksville colony is in need of food and another colony across town is in need and requesting some assistance with food for a large colony. Both colonies have been TNR'd but are very large and are being fed by elderly caretakers who are on fixed incomes and cannot afford to purchase food themselves.

10-23-23 Shirleys Angels - Spay/Neuter Colony
Shirley's Angels Animal Rescue is asking for donations.We were called out to a property to see if we could help. SAAR volunteers went out to access the situation and what we found is a very lovely lady who’s neighbors roof had fallen in a couple years ago and the neighbor moved away and left his cats. Those cats found a way out and migrated to the neighbors who’s been doing her best to keep their bellies full. However those couple cats have been breeding and now there are close to 2 dozen feral or skittish cats and kittens. Our hearts broke when she told us that she hears the foxes taking the kittens.We have got to end this cycle now. We need to make sure these cats stop breeding before the numbers climb even higher and more babies are born to be killed by foxes. We need your help badly. SAAR has reached out to try to find help for her with other groups because our vet bills are to high for us to take on this large of a TNR project right now and sadly no one can help her. They are all in the same boat we are right now but we cannot ignore this. We just can’t.Soooo we want to figure this out quickly. We called the vet and they are willing to alter up to 10 males on Tuesday. We would have to secure the funds by tuesday for this to happen as these will be pre paid apt slots for them.The vets giving a good price to help end this cycle but if they are not pre paid prior to the apt they cannot go. The male cats will be $70 to neuter and give a rabies vaccine and ear tip. So that means we need 10 pre paid male slots by Tuesday.Can you sponsor a kitty? Can you spare a few bucks to help end this cycle?If you can help you can do so several ways. Venmo and calling the vet directly are the speediest options for getting all 10 apts covered by tuesday.

10-31-23 Cats in need of food/litter
I'm in need of cat food and litter. I have three cats. My husband is stage 3 COPD and has been put out of work. Our car then broke down and I have just recently found work myself but won't get paid for two weeks.
