9-8-23 Cat food needed
Hello My Name is Chris and I am reaching out to you in regards to a large Colony of cats I have been caring for since March 11,2022. After neighbors had to moveout due to a bank foreclosure. They had to basically downsize and had no where that was safe to bring this colony with them. Since last year I have had 21 spayed and neutered 3 more scheduled for spay and neuter on Sept 14th. This has been a huge financial strain on me. I spend countless hours with these cats no matter how hot or cold it is to show them what love is. I know there are some that have no chance of ever finding a home due to health issues. I have had none test positive for FeLV and or FIV.. The house across the street from my house is now up for sale and I have 15 cats that could very well be adopted at this point and placed in homes. I have had very little help from any of the local organizations as of lately. I also have Walmart Wishlist and Amazon Wishlist of what is needed for the colony. I have thought about reaching out to TV Stations and Newspaper to tell them the story of Wildewood Cat Colony. I do this for these cats and to help them find there forever homes. My goal is to complete the spay and neuters for the whole colony and I am very close to reaching this huge milestone. Thank You for your time.

I am in desperate need of cat food and litter if anyone can help please. I just came upon a elderly man who is trying to feed a massive amount of cats near his home. I am trying to get them all spayed/neutered but he nor I can afford to feed them all. PLEASE help!

9-22-23 Mimi - Puppy with an intentional broken leg
A man had a tiny puppy to rehome, and found a family who said they wanted her. He dropped her off never knowing the horror that awaited her. The vet called and told us one of the saddest things we have heard. The man found out this little girl was being abused. They did not have all the details but said a boy in the home had either shot at her or threatened to do so, and had intentionally slammed her repeatedly on the driveway trying to break her legs. Sadly, he was successful. When the man found out he went and got her, rushing her to the vet despite not having the funds to do so. Her leg is broken, and will require an orthopedic plate to put it back together, and her being so small makes it very challenging. The man had to dip into his daughter’s scholarship fund to cover her emergency visit but could not afford surgery, so the vet called to see if we would be willing to accept her. We could not say no. We have contacted animal control and attempting to get more info on the abuser so charges can be filed, and the vet is willing to provide a statement outlining her injuries. We have named her Mimi, and have promised to do everything we can to help her recover. Mimi has been failed in the worst of ways. Can you help us pick up the pieces, and provide Mimi health, safety, and love?

9-25-23 Little Guy - severe mouth pain
Little Guy has been suffering and struggling to eat this week from how bad his teeth are. We got him some strong pain meds and not only are they helping him feel better, but they are helping him relax a little bit! For the first time today he leaned into petting and even rolled around and purred. He finally realizes he is safe indoors again for the first time in years.
We hope to be able to get him out of pain soon, but we still need to raise about 1000 dollars to get him his dental this week. If you can donate ANYTHING to help this sweet boy be able to eat again without hurting, please do so

9-25-23 Dogs need food
My husband and I have four dogs we want to keep. We are having problems feeding them due to having to relocate to his family's house an and leaving our jobs because we needed somewhere to stay because we just lost our home to a wildfire. We also have a two month old son so until we're able to obtain new employment it's kinda hard providing food for the dogs so we have barely been making ends meet. We actually live in comanche Texas but the small community has nothing like what y'all offer and I'm praying y'all can help. We need help with food and maybe a small pen but mainly food. If there's any way y'all can help it would be greatly appreciated.

9-26-23 CeCe - needs Dental ASAP

Hello all my fellow animal lovers. I am desperately asking for donations to help pay for a dental emergency for my rescued cat Cece. She had a hard life before I was able to bring her home with me. She was severely injured by some very cruel person. Both her back legs, feet and tail were badly damaged. Her tail had to be amputated and we managed to save her legs. Her feet healed a little off, but she can walk with some permanent weakness. She is the sweetest cat considering all that she has been through. Now she is eating very little, losing weight and drooling blood. I was able to get her to the vet, who has examined her and says that she definitely has one broken tooth and at least two others that are rotten, plus lots of infection and inflammation in her mouth. The vet says it is not stomatitis, but she needs a dental with those teeth removed immediately before the infection spreads throughout her body. They can do the procedure on October 12th. The surgery estimate is $350-$600 depending upon how many teeth end up needing removal.I am desperately asking for any help to be able to pay for this procedure to save my cat's life. She deserves to have a pain free life considering everything she has already been through. Every single dollar is greatly appreciated and desperately needed.

9-28-23 Urinary problem
I got a call from a friend who works a low cost spay/neuter clinic and a cat came in that was blocked and the owner could not afford to pay for it to be treated except for the neuter cost they already had. They contacted me and asked if we could help. They were cutting the cost way down since they were a low cost clinic. I said we could help. They only charged us $445 and that included keeping him overnight and meds to go home with. I never got kitties name or photo so here is one of my own, my dear Heidi.

9-28-23 Food needed for both cat and dog for nearly homeless family
I hate to ask. Do you have any animal food connections? Even for a bag or two? I donated clothes today at quakertown community closet, free clothing place.... they were to give dog n cat food today too. A very nice couple drove from Pottsville for dog food and they had none. They are facing homelessness in the next couple of weeks. I found someone to fix they're animals but they don't have any food resources to help these ppl. I would've went n bought a bag, but I'm that broke rn i don't have the couple bucks to even go. Two adult cats, a kitten that was born a week ago and a puppy
But why are they getting puppies and kittens if they can't feed them ?
They had a female cat and a male cat they tried to keep them separate because they don't have the money to get them fixed. But the male cat did get the female which is why originally they were looking to rehome the mail. But I found someone to fix all of the animals for them so now they can keep them all without an issue. The mom cat thankfully only had one kitten. She is feeding at the moment but they did say that she is becoming less interested in feeding and the kitten was born on saturday. So I don't know at this point they don't need the formula I don't know if they will. The puppy also wasn't abandoned one that they had found they are from Pottsville so as you know that's a common area. But my friend is going to get them all fixed.
